Krakatau Chandra Energi (KCE), through its subsidiary Krakatau Sarana Energi (KSE), established a strategic partnership with Mobil Anak Bangsa (MAB) to support the development of electric vehicles in Indonesia. This cooperation is focused on providing environmentally friendly vehicles with various superior features offered by MAB. The signing of the cooperation agreement took place in Jakarta on August 7, 2024, and was attended by KCE's board of directors, including President Director Erri Dewi Riani, Director of Finance, HR and Business Development Harry M. Tamin, and Director of Operations and Commercial Ari Azhar. Also present were KSE President Director Bunyamin Fauzi and MAB President Director Kelik Irwantono and his team.

This agreement is a follow-up to the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) previously signed between KCE and MAB. In this agreement, KCE will act as a distributor to market and sell MAB electric vehicles in Cilegon and surrounding areas. This collaboration is expected to accelerate the energy transition in the transportation sector in Indonesia, especially in the Cilegon region and its surroundings, by presenting more environmentally friendly and sustainable vehicle solutions.
