PT Krakatau Chandra Energi (KCE) continues to be committed to providing reliable, competitive electricity services in accordance with government regulations. After going through a process of evaluation and coordination with various stakeholders and consultation with regulators, KCE finally obtained the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Decree No.66.K\/TL.04\/MEM.L\/2025.<\/p>

This Decree aims to establish an electricity tariff structure that is transparent, equitable, and in accordance with the principles of sustainability for both KCE and consumers. With this Decree, KCE is committed to continue providing better, more efficient and competitive electricity services to all consumers.<\/p>

As part of information disclosure to customers, KCE held a Socialization of the Decree of the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources related to Electricity Tariffs and Other Costs in the Distribution of Electricity on Thursday, February 27, 2025 which was not only attended by Consumer Representatives but also attended by the Directorate General of Electricity and Banten Provincial Government Representatives.<\/p>

This event aims to strengthen the synergy and transparency of information between KCE and customers regarding the latest electricity tariff policy, as well as a form of KCE's appreciation for customer trust and loyalty so far. The socialization was opened by KCE President Director Erri Dewi Riani and Director General of the Directorate General of Electricity of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, Ir. Jisman P. Krakatau Posco (KP) on November 21, 2024 held the Inauguration and Signing Ceremony of Solar PV Rooftop 1.2 MWp Hot Rolling Plant (HRP) by inviting Krakatau Chandra Energi (KCE) as the main partner in the collaboration of EPC PLTS development.<\/p>

The event held at the Conference Room - Krakatau Posco Headquarters marked the completion of the construction and distribution of energy through the Solar Power Plant (PLTS) by KCE on time.<\/p>

The event was attended by the President Director of KCE, Erri Dewi Riani, Director of Finance, Human Resources and Business Development, Harry M. Tamin, President Director of Krakatau Posco, Jung Bum-Su and the Board of Directors and Management of both companies.<\/p>

In this project, KCE succeeded in increasing the renewable energy capacity mix in the Krakatau Industrial Estate (KIK) to 2.2 MWp while Krakatau Posco benefited in the form of reduced operational energy costs, becoming one of the Carbon Neutrality-oriented integrated steel companies and successfully reducing the carbon footprint equivalent to planting 70,000 to 80,000 trees every year.<\/p>

This time, IHC Krakatau Medika Hospital officially signed a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with KCE as part of supporting the Government's Net Zero Emission target and becoming one of the Green Hospitals implementing solar panels as an energy source.<\/p>
